Description

The Clemson Festival of ARTS returns for its 5th year in Catherine Smith Plaza and Jaycee and Abernathy Parks in Downtown Clemson on Saturday, May 16th, from 10am to 5pm. This festival, the only one of its kind in the city, is becoming an annual tradition for the third weekend in May. The Arts Center of Clemson puts on this free admission event that provides fun, entertainment, and artistic enrichment for all ages. Dozens of local and regional artists will have booths lining the blocked off street that runs between the plaza and the parks–demonstrating their different crafts and selling their works. Local musicians will perform on the Duke Energy Stage throughout the duration of the festival. The parks will be dedicated to free art activities for kids of all ages, and there will be other individual and community art projects offered throughout the festival, all free of charge. Local vendors will have food and drink for sale throughout the day, as well. Come enjoy a blissful day in downtown Clemson and take home a new masterpiece or even make one yourself! The Arts Center of Clemson and all festival friends and sponsors invite everyone to come dabble in the arts! Visit www.explorearts.org for more information.

Art is truly rich in our region of the SC Upstate, so come out and immerse yourself in the culture of art!
